These are thumbnails from both of my photoshoots.
This shoot was for the contents page, I shot him with a saxophone because this is an instrument commonly known throught out the jazz music scene. I also got him to wear a black shirt and trousers as jazz musicians tend to do. I used the top left picture because the model is showing true connection with his instrument which makes him look like a professional saxophonist.
This shoot was for the cover page and dps. I attempted to make her look like a jazz artist with the big hoop earings and the vintage looking jumper. My inspiration for this was the singer sade. I also shot her in simliar poses as what sade had done in pictures. I used the bottom left pitcure of Noreen and the top left this is because these pictures her eye contact with camera is strong and her positioning works well which creates a bigger impact when the audience look at the picture.
